Jenna Finkelstein has been a resident of St. Petersburg, Florida, for the past 21 years. She values quality time with her husband, friends, and family, and has a passion for travel and yoga. Jenna obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology with a minor in Psychology. She furthered her education at Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida, where she received her Juris Doctorate and a Concentration in Advocacy certification.
Jenna began her legal career with an internship at the Public Defender’s Office for the Sixth Judicial Circuit, subsequently serving as an Assistant Public Defender for seven years. She later became a partner and co-owner of the Law Offices of Powers Sellers & Finkelstein for over 11 years. Jenna’s extensive experience encompasses a wide range of criminal defense cases in Florida, including domestic battery, DUI manslaughter, drug trafficking, and first-degree murder. She is one of the few attorneys in the state qualified to represent clients facing capital murder charges where the death penalty is sought.
Throughout her career, Jenna has vigorously defended clients in over 70 jury trials and successfully negotiated thousands of favorable outcomes. She has handled complex cases involving sexual battery, lewd and lascivious acts, armed bank robbery, and drug trafficking. Her vast experience has provided her with insights into the operations of the State Attorney’s Office, various police agencies, and other state departments.
